About Me

     Just a little about myself.  I am 54 years old.  I have a wonderful wife, Gwen, of 34 years who puts up with all of my hunting, fishing and knife making habits. She is my biggest fan and source of inspiration.  I have two sons, Michael, age 31, and Chris, age 29. Chris gets all of the credit for this website, as all of this is his creation.

    I have always been a "hands on" kind of person and have loved knives for as long as I can remember. I made my first knife from a kit over twenty years ago. It is probably one of the ugliest knives ever made, but it cut like a razor and I still have and use it. It has skinned many a deer.

    I have made a living for 20 plus years working in the field of Quality Assurance. I guess it was a natural path for me as I tend to be a very picky person, whether it is my work or someone else’s. My work may not always be perfect, but it’s not from a lack of effort. The scrap box in the shop has never been empty. I refuse to sell a knife that I wouldn’t be proud to carry myself.

    As time permits I’ll add more knife pictures as well as some of the family members and maybe some of the shop if I can get it cleaned up enough to be presentable.

     Well enough of the boring stuff.  I hope you enjoy my site and my knives.  I look forward to hearing from you.
